All eyes are focused on the new Jacobson Building at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des
Moines, Iowa for the Battle at The Barn III.
This one of a kind coke syrup event in the state will take place on January 21st and 22nd. 2011.
On Friday, January 21st, there will be an open practice session from 6:00 - 10:00. On Saturday,
January 22nd., there will be practice from 11:00 - 12:30, the first heats will roll at 1:30, with the
feature events set for 7:00. The two day pit pass is $35 or $20 per day. The grandstands are $12
for adults and children 10 and under are free.
The Jacobson Building will offer free parking for all race rigs, indoor parking for all entrants,
electrical hookups will be available for a fee, and has more square footage than previous events.

The Econolodge Inn and Suites will be the host hotel of Battle at the Barn III set for January 21st
and 22nd at the Jacobson Building located at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.
The Econolodge is located right across the street from the Fairgrounds main entrance at 410 E.
30th. street.
They will be offering a Battle at the Barn rate of $55 for rooms or $65 for King Suites. You can
reach them at 515.262.2525. They offer an indoor pool, hot tub, and continental breakfast.
